Home Travels A week somewhere
A week somewhere
Wow- a full week to spend in a single location.
Mmmh... it could be boring.
Or, in some towns, you could end up suffering the Stendhal Syndrome: so much to see, so few hours left.DO NOT.
The towns and monuments and museums have been there before, and will still be there after you left.
And that special once-in-a-lifetime exhibition?
Unless you planned your trip just for that, do not bother- there is no reason to feel guilty for missing an event.
Be free- enjoy your time.
Because time is the one thing that really money cannot buy :D
Beware: I used to do intensive trekking (well, my trekking partner was doing Alpine skiing and climbing on a weekly basis, I was going up only once a month, so I had to cope with *his* pace :D).
Therefore: walking, with limited public transport- there is no point in wasting hours stuck in the traffic when you have just one day.
Moreover- 8km or 10km once in a while are just a healthy stroll, if you do it inside a town :-)
And let me know if there is anything else you need to know- or if you have suggestions: these pages need to be updated frequently!

Currently are under review the guides for: Rome, Paris, Malta, London, Amsterdam, built upon advice given online and offline in the social networks I belong to.
