My grandfather will really enjoy this year- he will turn 100.
He showed me what he published once in Internet.
The Internet? If you do not remember, was the precursor of our knowledge cloud.
It is so funny, to think about it now- around 70 years ago everybody was so excited about this relic of the XX century Cold War, a system to distribute and share information built to survive a nuclear global war.
Oh, but I am getting his habit- every word has a story, so in the end every phrase he says has tens of stories inside: really, like the cloud.
When he tells me about his travels in late XX century and early XXI, it seems unbelievable- having to spend hours in line to move from place to place.
In the end, travel is sometimes yet another romantic relic- it is so much more efficient to be there while staying here!
